Hi,
Here's the hardware maintenance manual for the laptop.
Go to p.39 to view the necessary steps to remove the systemboard.
This will give you access to the DC power jack connector (examples only) to check whether it is just loose from the systemboard or is faulty and needs to be replaced.
If loose it will need to be resoldered to the board. If faulty you will need to unsolder the old connector and solder in the new one. In either situation to do this the systemboard has to be removed from the case
