My camera won't take pictures and the orange lights won't turn on

My camera was working just fine yesterday after I changed the batteries then today the orange lights did not turn on but the red light in the back did. But the camera won't take any pictures.

The camera's batteries might be drained. Check the camera to make sure that there are 2xAA batteries that are fully charged and in the correct orientation within the battery compartment. This may be a simple solution but maybe something that is easily overlooked.

Those are new batteries it was working and then it stopped after I took of the colored lens
