When ever I start the console it starts up fine but the second I run a big game like COD or r6 it sounds like a jet engine is about to take off. I tried cleaning it and even replaced the fan but no good. Any suggestions?

Did you replace the thermal paste?
If the thermal paste has dried up it won’t do its job properly and won’t take heat away from the processor and it will just make it heat up with will make the fans run faster which means they will get alot louder

iFixit also has a really nice guide for this process too. PlayStation 4 散热硅脂更换. They don't tell you what brand of thermal paste, but I highly recommend the Arctic Silver.

Same problem but I have already stripped it down and cleaned the entire thing. New paste, new pads, lots of air flow clearance, room temp is not hot at all. So????
This happens to mine. I just shop vac all the vent the best I can. Quites it down.
People will tell that's bad for it. I don't know but that's what I do.

You best thing to do is open it up and clean it out
They get very dusty overtime and the thermal paste dries out which doesn’t allow the console to get the heat out so it makes the fans spin faster ,that makes it sound like a jet engine:-)
