Possibilities of repurposing camera from oneplus nord n100
Attempting to wire the Camera or the entire Rear Camera Module to USB.
Possibilities? Am I crazy? Pointless?
Firstly, let me start by saying thanks in advance for anyone that bothers to reply. It's been a hassle to get any sort of response on this topic. So yeah, thank you.
[short back story below]
So, my oneplus nord n100 had an accident and the screen stopped working. Upon disassembly, I find that one of the two (brownish Colored?) ribbons/cables had torn in half, I have no idea how either lol 😅
Assuming these can't be fixed, only replaced, I decided I want to scrap and repurpose what I can.
That's how I came to posting my inquiries here....
- Can I repurpose the camera(s)?
- Can I wire them to USB, if so, any advice or tips?
- What else can I repurpose?
P.S.- Before i go all in, Is it possible for me to gain access to my device seeing as the screen doesn't work? Like scrcpy somehow? Thanks again!!
