I keep getting an error message when trying to burn a disc from iTunes. Something to the effect that the disc is not recognized. Then the cd gets spit out of the machine. Took it into a mac store and they said we needed a new optical drive. I'm looking for a suggestion for which drive to use. Thanks

The optical drive may only need a laser lens cleaning. Before buying a new one you could take it out of the machine, open it, dust it off with compressed air and clean the laser lens with isopropyl alcohol.

Aren't there like cleaner disks too you can stick in there?
Sure but manual job is always better.
