TV picture wont come on after replacing power supply panel

TV picture wont come on after replacing power supply panel(it didnt power on it all, picked it up off side of road) all I get is a red light and a click sound when I press the power button then it turns off , trying to fix it myself

My model is a tcp46c2, and yes and you have it correct the TV didnt power on it all, so I ordered and replaced the power supply board, now the tv has a red light followed by a click when I press the power button on the front of the tv manually
