2 Makita Chainsaw doesn't turn off with switch
When the single black wire which connects the ignition coil to the switch on the handle via the spring switch, the chainsaw will not start but once I remove the connection it will start up but the the switch won't work to turn it off.
Victor Torres have you checked the switch to see if it works?

The switch is plastic and it's connected to the ignition coil and the spring switch only.
