So basically I was djing got a little drunk and spilled on my MacBook. It didn't look that bad and everything was still running but ableton got all buggy.
So the next morning (not) I'm sober and the touchpads click is messed up. The click where you press it in. Any advise as to what I should do I have the extended warranty do you think it will be covered?

Usually the warranties don't cover liquid damage. Unfortunately in the new unibodies if you want to replace the trackpad, you have to replace the whole upper case. Unfortunately even more, you may have destroyed the cable connecting the trackpad and logic board, which to my knowledge is built into the logic board in these new unibodies. However, it'd be a good idea to do some disassembly, and look for any residue, if you're lucky that may just be the problem.
Does the mouse not work or is it just the clicking function? A workaround would be to enable trackpad clicking, where you just tap the trackpad to click, instead of actually depressing.

I had tap clicked enabled before so I guess its not the huge of a problem. In addition depressing the trackpad to click which is really my issue still works some of the time after vigorously clicking.
Does this indicate residue and should I crack the case knowing it will void my warranty. I might not be apposed but if apple will fix the issue for less than $250 i might just do that.
Possibly, you should definitely open it up.
I blew it out with dust off stuck it in a bag of rice and hair dryered it for a bit and now it works next time I'll crack the case though don't worry [ :
