Face ID not working

My Screen was damaged and I’ve got a replacement but the ribbon cable off the original earpiece assembly was also damaged and I’ve had to also replace the assembly. As the sensors are paired with the phone once replaced the Face ID is not working. Can the new assembly sensors be programmed to work with the phone to re-enable the Face ID feature?

Unfortunately, the Face ID assembly cannot be repaired under any circumstances except by Apple or their authorized service providers. Face ID data is stored in something called the Secure Enclave in your iPhone. Any attempt to remove it to perform a repair or replacement will result in the secure enclave chip being destroyed or disabled without question, not to mention the data is secured digitally. This is impossible to reprogram yourself; I’m sorry for the disappointing response, but it is the truth. :(

Hi Marcus, thanks for your response. Do you think it's possible to replace or repair the ribbon which connects to the front earpice assembly?

Hey again, not a problem at all! While I can’t say for sure if this would be impossible, I do know that Apple employs tamper-resistant measures in this technology. If your device detects damage or any sort of tampering, there is a good chance Face ID will be disabled even if it is still functional. It may be worth a shot, but I would again advise that the chances are unlikely. I’m sorry for such disappointing answers :(
