My Switch doesn't dock (more details in post)
For about a year or two now, the dock that my switch came in blinks a green light when the switch is docked. I’ve tried all the troubleshooting steps listed on Nintendo’s support website, to no avail. It charges just fine with the charging cable by itself. I also know that the switch is the issue and not the dock because the switch doesn’t work with other docks either, and other switches work in those docks. What’s the issue, and what should I do to remedy it?
Try the see if the dock connector is all in order and doesn't have any damaged pins.

If you have a usb-c hub, try running the HDMI through it to isolate the issue to the dock.
