I can hear the tv.

Not certain (based on the information you gave) but I think your back light went out on your TV. You will need to have someone come to repair it. There are also similar questions asked here https://www.ifixit.com/Answers/Device/Vi... so you might find an answer in those questions as well.

charlenemendoza_61this sounds like a typical backlight strips that have failed. We would need to know your TV’s exact model to do a bit more research. Of course you do want to go ahead and measure the voltages on the LED connectors on the power board and verify that those have the proper voltages. To get to the backlight strips, you will have to disassemble the TV and the panel. The most important part with that is that you do NOT mix up the “plastic sheets” between the backlight strips and the LCD screen. It is important that you keep them in the same order and the same direction. Let us know what model your TV is so we can give you a more precise answer; for now it is your backlight strips that need to be replaced.
