Can't get tru tone to write to new screen

I have a aftermarket OLED screen on my xs max and not the original screen. I also picked up a icopy to write the info from 3u tools. I took the MTSN number from 3utools and pasted in icopy software, it writes the info and says it succeeded. But still no trutone?. Also in 3utools the new info does not show up and says “ user decision needed” ??. I also noticed if I hover over LCD serial number in 3utools it shows the factory number, but the number shown in icopy has extra digits after the factory number??? Very weird indeed, anyone have any insights to get this working TYIA.
