Replacing display on MacBook Pro 13" Retina (early 2015)
Is it possible to replace the display on MacBook Pro 13” Retina (early 2015) Model A1502 with one from MacBook Pro 13” (2012) Model A1278.

No, it is not. The A1278 was not a Retina model.

Even some of the retina models have different displays which can't be swapped as well.
Stick with the proper display for your system.
