1 Why won't my console connect to any controllers?
So basically I've been messing with this all day. I've looked at every YouTube video and read every online article on this subject today. I tried every different variation of the same thing. I factory reset my entire console and erased all of my games. I hard reset, soft reset, factory reset, turned all of them on and off, tried pairing with other controllers, using the USB cord. like anything you could think of. I connected all of the controllers with ease to my one x. But my one s just won't connect. I've come to the conclusion that my console is broken. The Blue tooth button has been broken since I bought it, but could always pair easily with the USB. I recently unpaired my previous controller in attempt to make that one my Xbox one x controller for a while. Once I tried to reconnect I realized I messed up when none of them would sync again. I've contacted tech support and they say basically I will need to fix it. So after all of this my question is what do you think is wrong with it? Is it the blue tooth chip, the rf module, could it be a loose connection? What would be the best way to start this journey? Tomorrow I plan on taking it apart to see if it's just a loose connection but don't know if you guys know where to go afterwards? Sorry for the long question I just thought I would answer all the generic things I've done because I've answered so many questions today. ??

Is the controller still working via USB? Have you made sure that the antenna wires are all connected? Have you tried to connect the controller to another console?

No it isn't working via USB. It usually does because the sync button has never worked but it stopped working via USB this last time I tried to connect it. All the wires are connected I already tried. I tried different cords, different controllers and nothing still. And all of my controllers work on my other console.

@katrinaj If you plug your phone into the Xbox while the Xbox is on, does the phone recieve power(does it charge or come up with incompatible accessory)?

@andrewsawesome it charges. My phone and my controllers. I still use it as charging station for my other Xbox. I can even plug it in and have it working while playing my other Xbox. I just can't get anything to connect to the one s. And all of my USB ports are the same I tried them all unfortunately.

1. Install https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/p/media-... (Media Player in the Xbox store) on your Xbox One.
2. Get a USB drive and use a computer to format the USB drive as FAT32.
3. Put a photo on the USB drive(the file format must be BMP, GIF[animated or still], JPG/JPEG, PNG, or TIFF)
4. Eject the USB drive from the computer.
5. Put the USB drive into your Xbox One.
6. Turn on the console
7. Open the Media Player app
8. Open your picture.
