Wont turn on but fan spin, cpu is heating and battery is charging

Hi!

My mac suddenly did not turn on. I tried to troubleshoot it:

Already tried resetting the SMC

I checked maybe the battery or the charger is not working but they are.

I opened the back lid, remove the battery and try tried to directly power it. The fan works and the CPU is heating up but no chime or signal through the monitor.

I put the battery and see if the fan or CPU will work. The fan works and the CPU is heating up but no chime or signal through the monitor.

Also, whenever I push the power button, I know it is working because it turns on and off the fan.

I’m not really sure what is the problem. I’m guessing that it could be the RAM or the logic board.

What is the systems history, did you bang or drop it? Did you have a liquid spill of get caught in the rain or sit the system down on a wet surface?

Do you live is a humid area and often take your system into an A/C cooled home or office?
