Why is my iPhone vibrating twice every 5 seconds?

I had opened my iPhone unplugged the connectors under the large shied at the top of the phone. I closed up the phone and tried to turn it on the lcd came on but with no apple logo. I turn off the phone and went under the shield, I found a connector ( bottom left corner under the shield) undone, so I plugged it back in and closed up the phone. Started it up and plugged in the dock connector, with a blank screen it vibrates 2 times every 5 seconds. It only vibrates when the dock connector is plugged in.
