Why is my freezer icing up and my refrigerator not cooling
My freezer was icing up and the refrigerator stopped getting cold. I could not find anything wrong by just looking around so I unplugged it and let it de-thaw. So I plugged it back in and everything was fine for a couple of days. Once again my freezer is starting to ice up and the refrigerator stopped working. What is going wrong and how can I fix it?

Could be a faulty defrost heater under the evaporator unit in the freezer compartment or a faulty defrost thermostat but would need the make and model number of the refrigerator to know if it uses a defrost bi-metal thermostat or a thermister.
