re attaching the keyboard on a MSI GE73 Raider

I replaced the bottom and upper case palmrest today due to a broken hinge mount. The keyboard was held in by what looked like thin plastic needles. I am unable to remount the keyboard correctly on the new upper case palmrest. so my keyboard is soft and shallow in all 4 corners. Is there a trick i am missing to re-mount the keyboard??
