PC starts up, kinda loads theb black screen ENG.

hi i put this in englis for more help.

i once wanted to start my pc and i only get the windows loading buffer icon showing up, not even the windows 10 logo… only the loading thing. it sometimes shows my mouse but mostley not.

hardware looks good so i thought soft ware... once i try to boot my bios it shows that i get display but the display is also a black screen. i tested my gpu and it works i unpluged and re plugged evrything. i cleared CMOS multiple times and i get nothing new going. i also tryed to re install windows but my bios doesnt show so i cant do anny thing on that too.is it possible that my bios died so it cant boot up?

what can i do? i havnt checked the cpu cause i dont trust my self geting that one out. and tbh i doubt that is the problem. the pc was not even 1 year old when it happends. i cant get to a IT store atm cause of money and lockdown issues…

It does help us if you mention what brand and model your motherboard is or if a pre-built system which brand and model number.

"windows loading buffer icon showing up" Do you mean the circles moving in a circle while it is loading? Do you not get the light blue Window at the beginning?

i have a msi b360m pro-vh its not pre build but custom.

exactley that i dont get the windows logo it self only the white dots loading.

then it will go in to a black screen with a mouse that goes away if i dont move it and it sometimes shows the loading icon with the mouse. if i move the mouse btw and it vanishes it also recenters.

safemode and bios startup on the other end give no display nethere through gpu or mother board. i think the gpu is disabeld of it so that might be the problem but how do i enable it then?

i have a RTX 2060 (sure it works)

a i5 9th gen (not sure if it works cant test this one)

32 gb ram (sure it works)

700w coolermaster PSU (assume it still works since the build is only 1,5years old)

i als overclocked nothing so that does not seem the case ether.

We are assuming the mainboard and the CPU are good.

  • Try reflashing the BIOS/UEFI. They can get corrupted due to a number of causes:

  • Here’s another thing I’ve tried - shut down, discharge power and take out the graphics card and bootup the computer and follow the drive activity light. If it goes on for awhile then it is probably booting up. Re-insert card and see if any different.
  • Try disconnecting your hard drive and see if the <F11> key successfully brings up the boot menu. Your hard drive maybe corrupted or defective.

You haven’t mentioned the EZ Debug LED’s (just near the RAM slots). What have they shown? Look in your manual on page 7.

These LED’s indicate the status of the motherboard.

  • CPU - indicates CPU is not detected or is failing.
  • DRAM - indicates DRAM is not detected or is failing.
  • VGA - indicates GPU is not detected or is failing.
  • BOOT - indicates booting device is not detected or is failing.

When you reset the BIOS I presume you shut off the computer, discharged power by pressing and holding the power button for 5 - 10 seconds, took out the CMOS battery and then jumped the JBAT1 pins for 5-10 seconds, etc.?
