Right joycon not charging (tried sync button and such still don’t work

I baught a custom shell for my joycons and I have prior experience with repairing joycon drft is other stuff so I know what I was doing and everything was working fine untill I closed the joycon up and all the sudden the battery showed up as dead and wouledt charge. I left it on the switch overnight (I made sure the switch was plugged in and it was) I tried disconnecting and resyncing but that disent work and when I push the SYNC button nothing happens. I reopen it and made sure every ripping cable was properly connected and it was. Any idea what it could be?( I might’ve broke the battery but I dout that and I rely hope not)
