Ipad not staying on except when pinching the top right corner

I have an iPad that had the Glass, home button, battery, and charging port all replaced. the port was changed 4x. Once the final port was put in the tablet begun to charge. but will not give accurate voltage. It either gives 2% or 100%. what makes this whole thing weird is that the only way to keep it on is to squeeze the top right corner. But it still will not charge. It indicates that it is charging but never pasts 2%. As soon as I touch the home button the whole iPad jumps into a boot loop. can anyone explain what is going on here?
