Which iPod Touch battery is better?
Which model battery is better, the 616-0404 that ifixit sells here or the 616-0401? Which lasts longer? Do certain batteries work with certain itouches?

In theory the 0404 would provide you with a bit longer time. It appears to be the choice if that is what you are looking for. Of course, always remember that most of those numbers are strictly academics, and will depend on your usage of the device. Also, just because the numbers match, that does not tell you that you have a great battery. You have something that will fit your device and should work. I would go with a reputable seller that has good customer support when needed.
