Released in September 2013, this 7-inch 1440x900 tablet running Android Jellybean was sold by Tesco. It was discontinued in October 2015 having been superseded by the Hudl 2.
When I had this problem I recall splitting it open (sturdy table knife), disconnecting and reconecting the battery. Check the on switch is free, not impeded by the case.
