I have a ds lite that i recently opened up, and i realized that the power switch was broken, it powers on but the switch is broken and i need a flat tip screwdriver to power it on and i dont want to desolder it to risk damage to the board

@hithere145 depends on how it is broken. If it is just the slider, you can replace that. Nintendo DS Lite电源开关更换指南 If it is the actual switch, it needs to be replaced and will require soldering. It was the slider on the switch itself, not the plastic piece
@hithere145 in that case the only way to really fix it is by soldering a new switch in place.
