SAMSUNG S6 mainboard # G920A/W8 what is the W8 for?
I think i kinda got it figured out but im not sure, Does the ”A” stand for country code ? What in the world does the “W8” stand for? Would a board G920A work to replace the G920A/W8 board?

@joetuff the G920W8 is the Canadian version of the S6. The G920A is the AT&T version (the letter code is most commonly to identify the carrier as well as the country where the phone is sold in). Most likely that the 920A board can be used but we really would need to see it to compare it.

I think it would. It probably is a revision number. I’d do it. G920A is the thing to watch out for. It’s your model number.
