Brand New iMac Pro Shut Off / Won't Turn Back on

I bought this in July of this year and four months later, it suddenly shut off and won’t turn back on. So far I’ve tried all the methods to unplugging, counting to 10, pressing the power button, counting to 10, trying a different outlet, etc. and nothing seems to work. Kind of irritated because it’s…. BRAND NEW and this is their top of the line computer. Just really don’t know what happened and would love to not pay thousands of dollars right off the bat at the Apple Store.

Well, you’re between a rock and a hard place!

If you open the system you void the warranty! Then you would end up paying!!

So I would bring it back to Apple where you bought it and let them deal with it. If you can’t get there due to COVID lockdown, I would at least contact Apple to log it now so you have is documented in Apples system as failed at this point in time (make sure you get a copy of the paperwork (email) so you have proof.

Once you get your system fixed I would get the extended AppleCare+ coverage to be safe.
