My iPod touch stuck into the white screen mode

I have an iPod touch 4g and I tried to jailbreak it with redsn0w 0.9.9b4 to go to IOS 5, and in the middle of jailbreaking it just stuck into the white screen.

I've tried home and power button for more than seven minutes but it didn't work.

I can't go to the DFU mode, and iTunes does not identify my iPod touch so i can't restore it either.

there is no apple store near me, and I'm absolutely helpless. I don't know what to do.

Please give me a solution.

Any help will be appreciated!

So holding the home & power buttons the white screen stays?

I would try booting out of DFU.

Hold home & power for 10 secs, then release HOME and continue holding power.

Then try hooking up and restoring iOS 5 and start again.

Make sure you havent got a fake red snow too!

the same problem, go to dfu mode without turn off just press power button and wait 3sg after that press home and wait. the screen change. later install iOS 5 from iTunes (not beta iTunes).

it was perfect for me

note: wait to disappear white screen or press power to start (few second)

i tried what you said but my screen remains like snow (without the red) dead and white for some reason i think apple might have injected a code to frie the hardware when jailbreaking... heck wouldnt that be illegal
