Haptic feedback stops working on boot?

Hi All,

I recently replaced my battery for this MacBook which was successful.

However, when I booted the haptic feedback for my trackpad was gone!

I ordered a replacement ribbon cable, replaced it and the haptic feedback was back!.. for 1 minuet until it disappeared again!

I then tried again by taking it out of the trackpad PCB and putting it back in again making sure that it’s seated correctly but then the same thing happened! It worked for 1 min and then the haptic feedback stopped!

Is this something that can be solved in software or do I need to replace my trackpad?
