What is the model number of the refrigerator?

Given that both compartments are warm and the compressor is running the problem may be a faulty compressor or a lack of refrigerant in the sealed system due to a leak

Is the compressor motor too hot to touch? If so this may indicate that no refrigerant is being pumped through, keeping it relatively cool or at least only warm

Is the evaporator unit in the freezer icy cold to the touch? If not this indicates that there is no refrigerant being pumped through the unit.

Is there any “frosting” or ice collecting on the pipes leading from the compressor or into the evaporator unit? If so this may indicate a blockage in the sealed system

Are there any oil residues on/below the compressor or on the condenser coils? If so this may indicate a leak of refrigerant. There is a special oil mixed in with the refrigerant to lubricate the compressor and if there is a leak in the sealed system, the refrigerant will escape to the air undetected but the oil will leave a trace.

It may be that the high/low refrigerant pressures in the sealed system will need to be checked to ascertain what and where the problem is. Depending on your location you may need a licensed refrigerator repairer to do this to comply with the EPA (or relevant local environmental) regulations regarding the handling of refrigerant gases. Where I am you cannot even buy refrigerant gas if the system needs to be recharged after the problem has been fixed, without being licensed.

How old is the refrigerator? Just asking as according to this there is a 5 year parts and labour warranty on the sealed system. The sealed system comprises the compressor, evaporator, condenser and associated piping. Verify what the warranty is for your refrigerator. If the 5 year sealed system warranty is applicable to your model and the refrigerator is <5 years old, follow the instructions in the warranty about how to make a claim for a warranty repair.
