Facetime camera won't work after I/O board replacement

I just replaced the I/O board in my 2017 macbook air because the magsafe light never came on and my computer never charged. Luckily, the new I/O board solved that problem, but now my FaceTime camera won’t work. I’ve tried in multiple apps, but every time I just get a black screen and the green light beside the camera flashes.

So far, I’ve tried an SMC reset, restarting the computer, running the suda killall VDCAssistant terminal command, and reopening the computer to inspect the camera cable. It looked to be connected all the way and the cable looked fine, but I could’ve missed something. Any ideas?
