1 Replaced ice dispensing switch. Still no ice.
Replaced ice dispensing switch. Still no ice. I see there is nothing to depress the button on the bottom of the new switch. Am I missing a lever ? If I depres the button manually I hear the ice dispenser trying to work. But nothing close to the button.

Samsung RF4287HARS. Ice dispenser stopped producing any ice. Replaced ice dispensing switch. I see there is nothing to depress the button on the new switch. If I manually depress it, I hear the ice maker trying to do something. I see a hole that looks like something should come in from the lever to the switch but there isn't anything. What am I missing??

The ice maker makes ice, but the dispenser doesn’t work—is that the problem?
You replaced the switch but not the entire dispenser assembly, right?
If you take out the ice tray, you can see the two moving parts that are supposed to work— the big plastic screw inside the tray that actually moves the ice cubes, and there is a second bent rod system that opens the opening by the front. When you press the switch is it the big plastic screw that is moving? Or the door that is opening? Or both?
Can you post a picture of the hole you speak of?
