Replacement batter is not being recognized
Hello, I just got a replacement battery for my Macbook Air from iFixit. When installed, it is not being recognized. But when I take it out and put the old battery back, it is recognizing it fine. Is there anything I can do ti fix this? Thanks.

Hello, Thank you for you response. I have installed the Coconutbattery App and tried, but it was not recognizing the battery at all. So I took a screen shot of the System Preferences-Power.
In comparison, when I re-installed the old battery and ran the Coconutbattery app, I get some data, I am including that also here for your reference.
Please advise what can be done with the battery.
Thanks.

Well the older battery (CoconutBattery output) was beyond its usefulness! So it was in need of being replaced.
Your new battery appears to be defective or you failed to connect it! As it reports no battery! Double check the batteries connection as how did you disconnect the battery? Did you use a metal screwdriver? You may have damaged your logic board.
