Switch connects to network but doesn't function properly.

My Switch sees and connects to my 2.5GHz network but doesn’t see the 5GHz network. When I try to connect my Nintendo account it gives me an error “401 Authorization Required” with a blank page. The console is on system version 8.0.1 and when I try to manually update it says the system is up to date. Joy Cons connect via Bluetooth and work normally. I have searched all over for any information on this issue and couldn’t find anything. Any help would be amazing!
