phone 5se work off the direct current
Why doesn't a dead iphone 5se work off direct current when plugged in? Why do you have to wait so long? Another person said when the phone is dead, it works off the battery and there is not enough “charge" to run the software. So why doesn't it just use the “juice” from being plugged into the wall, the power source? Like my lap top when its dead?

It has to meet a certain amount of charge to turn on. It should only take a few minutes to reach enough charge. It's not made to run off of the charger. It needs power connected to the battery connection on the motherboard with a dc power source and it will work but you will have to disconnect the battery and you will have to take the screen off.

Thanks. I was just curious. They should make the charger work like my laptop. So it powers the phone immediately while its charging, without dismantling the phone. I'm just not patient enough to wait. Plus what if there is an emergency??? A few minutes can make a big difference
