MacBook won't turn on after battery drain
Couldn’t find my charger last night and I left it at 6%. Hasn’t turned on today. I’ve read solutions for a similar issue on here which involve opening it up, which is the last thing I want to do. It’s no longer under 3 year warranty as Applecare has expired.
Weird situation is that the laptop had liquid damage back in 2017. Turned on once but soon after it died while the lid was closed. Couldn’t just spend 800 or 1000 they wanted to fix it as AC didn’t cover liquid damage at the time. Last month for some reason I decided to try turning it on. Think I charged it and tried turning it with resetting the NVRAM. And it just worked. For the last couple of weeks. Battery was draining at normal and according to two different apps was at 93% capacity.
But today resetting the NVRAM, SMC and a couple of things I could without opening it, hasn’t worked.
Could it still be liquid damage that it randomly worked for a few weeks after 3 years and now suddenly isn’t?

Thank you for your response. Without deep skills, I should probably just sell it for parts and not try to fix it, right? Presumably be able to wipe HD/apple ID stuff through iCloud or is that only possible for iPhones and iPads?
