The lower half of my TV is covered in Grey horizontal lines
There are Grey horizontal lines covering the entire bottom half of the screen which also makes the bottom of the screen flicker. Could this be a bad T-CON board?

What is the model number of the TV?
Horizontal lines are not caused by a tcon problem. Tcon problems can cause vertical lines or no video.
Unfortunately this is a panel problem.
This is assuming of course that it is a LCD TV and not a plasma TV.

Hi @lordtrippy
Your TV is a LED TV so the problem is with the panel. Faulty panels cannot be repaired, they have to be replaced
You could try to find a replacement panel by searching online for the part number which is usually located on the back of the panel itself.
If you are lucky and you do happen to find one it will be expensive.
An alternative to consider is to advertise your TV as "LG 49UJ6200 faulty screen - good for parts" as working TV boards are always in demand, to try and recoup some of the cost towards a new TV
