Refurbished or Original New?
is there a way to tell if parts in a device “sold as brand new” is infact orginal or if replacements parts have been used? im concerned about a device i purchased online

To the best of my knowledge, I dont think it is possible to tell. Maybe there might be a torn or intact warranty sticker ,but that is the only thing I can think of.

i figured as much - but in saying that - how are warranty claims approved or rejected when devices are sent in and inspected for 3rd party parts?
I dont know really. Maybe try contacting HTC support and see if they can help you. Goodluck.
