Short to ground on PP18V5_G3H
So this system has 17.2v on PP18V5_G3H with 0 resistance to ground.
Removed R6905.
Still shorted
R7062 gets 7v instead of those 17v. Removed and board still shorted.
Fuse on that line is ok..
Any ideas?
Did this system have a liquid spill?
The MagSafe LED is driven by SMC, I’m not sure I follow why you are focused on 3.425V G3Hot.
I would go back to PPVBAT_G3H_CHGR_OUT Q7050 si7137dp as I’m suspecting that’s your issue.
这个答案有帮助吗?
Stopped turning on 2 years after water spill.
I had 0v everywhere, i replaced r6905, c6990 and c6999 now i have 3.6v and 17.2v on both sides of r6905 and then i found that on d6905 thats why i thought problem was there. Q7050 and that area looks alright.
Q7050
All pins have 1v less pin 4 which has 0.22v.
Thats it?
I would start there.
So that comes from CHGR_BGATE in U7000.
U7000:
DCIN 0v
ACIN 4v
VDD 0v
PP3V42 G3H 1,7v
Btw thanks for your help man

@king_jorg - Maybe you want to head over to Louis Rossmann's YouTube channel where here gets into the logic board repairs.
