Lost my screen, twice

The first time the hinge failed causing the cable to break or so I was told, 30.00 repair good fast service.

6 months latter driving down the road my screen went out again, hinge is in tact, phone still works but no screen no phone book or anything else for that matter.

I am tempted to unzip the phone and look for my self and would if I had a little guidence. I watched the tech work on my first repair and I am reasonably sure it is well within my abbilities to do the same. any advice would be helpfull and much appreciated. but let me say this about that.

I would like to apologize to anyone that read my post concerning the chip on my shoulder. It is a personal problem and I have no right putting it on anyone let alone someone I am asking for help. I oft forget that the net is global and that is alot of toes to step on, if I stepped on yours I am sorry
