Fan & screen issues

Hi Dan, I have a late 2014 27" 5K. I have two issues:

1) After almost 5 years, I'm noticing the fan coming on to cool the unit which I never noticed before. I'm assuming the unit is full of dust. Is there a way to clean it without taking the whole machine apart? Even though I'm experienced at fixing things, I'm afraid of the delicate cables and getting it back together. I'm also afraid of doing nothing and then some component dies due to overheating.

2) Second question is that every once in a while i get a thin green vertical line down the center of the screen. What needs to be fixed/replaced in this case? It only happens once in a while. If I reboot it usually goes away. Hasn't happened in a while though.
