iPhone 8 plus will not charge, will a wireless charger fix it?
I have had my iPhone 8 plus for 2 and a half years, and it has never been dropped harshly or water damaged. In the past few months, I have had to position the phone in a certain way and keep the phone still for it to charge, and it sometimes says that my accessory is not supported. My phone also says my battery is damaged and only at 80% of its original capacity. Tonight, my phone did not respond to the charger and is now almost dead. I have tried hard resets, cleaning the charging port, and 5 different chargers, three of them being Apple certified. I have done everything besides erasing everything off of the phone.
I am not in a position to buy a new phone, and I was wondering if I could order a wireless charger for my phone and if that would solve my charging issues, assuming that the problems stem from my charging port. However, if my phone says my battery is damaged, would a wireless charger even work?
