iPhone 3GS not charging after battery replacement & random Power-Offs
I have an iPhone 3Gs running 4.2 Unlocked on Tmobile.
I replaced the battery and followed all instructions. Im fairly tech savvy and it wasnt too hard and I think I would have known if I broke something.
I reassembled my phone and turned it on and the battery was at 83% and it will not charge. The battery Icon shows the symbol that its fully charged. I doesnt matter whether I connect it to my computer or Wall, it wont charge.
Itunes however does recognize it and sync with it, so I dont think its the doc connector. Any ideas?
And it seemed to randomly shut off and start back up
EDIT: Just tried puttin my old battery in, and it works fine, so obviously its a problem with the new battery.

Okay I will, but not because of the upvote. Just because you think it's a worthy answer:-). Just wish some of the people asking would be more responsive....."like pulling teeth"

Jordan : Does getting a new Battery solved your problem? I have the same problem with another data point to the issue that my replacement battery started charging for 2 days but again went to the charged Symbol mode now.. Shall I also order a new replacement if this is purely a battery issue?
