Is it possible to put the motherboard of a mid 2014 13" MacBook Pro?

I strongly believe I cannot be the first one to ask this haha
i’ve got a mid 2014 13” MacBook Pro with a broken display, and a fully working mid 2012 retina MacBook Pro. I wanted to know if I can put the mother board of the 2014 in the 2012 and create sort of a hybrid, basically resurrecting the 2014 MacBook inside the 2012 body.
is this at all possible?
