Water damage but my phone still works.
Around the beginning of the month, I noticed that the vibration on my phone was acting up and was very aggressive. I though the Taptic engine was the issue but when I went to a repair store, they told me that this was happening because of water damage. They said replacing the Taptic engine wouldn’t help because the same problem would return in a week or so. So the best solution was that someone needed to go into my phone to do board work but they didn’t know how it do this. Days before this problem started, my phone was outside during the rain so I guess a few drops had managed to make its way into my phone. So I believe this is probably why the vibration was not working properly. But lately, there have been more issues with my phone that I believe could also be related to this water damage that my phone has. About two days ago I noticed that when I would receive a phone call or I would call someone, they could not hear me and I could not hear them. So I would restart my phone and this issue would be gone but come back after a few hours. Another issue is that my camera buffers really badly to a point where it will not take pictures or videos. Especially on apps like Snapchat and Instagram. It pretty much won’t record any videos until I restart my phone. And just like with the phone calls, everything is fine after I restart it, but a few hours later all these problems return. It is getting to a point where I have to restart my phone multiple times a day now. Everything else still works at the moment but those are the main three issues.
