Spilled liquid into screen, was turned off for 5 days before I noticed
I spilled an iced coffee on my laptop. Only the screen was affected. The laptop was off for 5 days before I noticed. What can I do to get rid of the water?

Get Isopropyl alcohol and immediately take apart the computer and clean it with that to stop corrosion. Your going to have to take out the logic board and take apart as much as you can.

I doubt that will help at this point. Five days sitting will likely be dried out anythings have festered a bit long in the wet.
i have cleaned liquid damage and corrosion off boards with it a good amount of times.
I still think its smarter getting the lay of the land before jumping in. With some pics we can see what needs cleaning and what needs replacing.
