How to recharge Jbl e45bt headphones

If your iPhone charger is for an iPhone model after and including an iPhone 5, then it will have a lightning connector and the earphones use a micro USB connector.

You can use most mobile phone, tablet chargers etc, except Apple products, which have a micro USB connector, as long as the output voltage of the charger is +5V DC and the current output doesn’t exceed 1A (1000mA). This should be printed on the charger itself.

Alternatively you could get a Lightning female to micro USB male adapter - example only and connect your iPhone charger to the headset via this.

The charging cord that came with the headphones fit my Apple and quickly charged it. Thanks for your reply, but why didn’t the JBL people put the directions on the box or the multi lingual pamphlet ?

I don't know the answer to that, you would have to ask JBL.

As JBL are in competition with Apple for certain products, e.g. earpods and maybe headsets etc, they may not even like to mention the name.

This is a total guess on my part ;-)
