Replacement 30con&40con lvds sockets for QNIX QX2710

Hello,

I’ve been getting around to fixing a QNIX QX2710 monitor that I’ve had for a while, and the problem seems to be the LVDS connectors on the board to the LCD. The panel is a LTM270DL07-D01 It uses both a 30 pin and 40 pin connector(pitch =.5mm), but I’m not sure where to source these from https://imgur.com/IHbss2f.

I also have a secondary issue where I tore two solder pads off from the left side of both the 30 pin and 40 pin connector, but I don’t believe there is any traces that these two pads connect to. I think they were just there to hold the lvds connectors in place. I’ll also have to deal with this, but for now I just want to try and get a couple of connectors.

This is one of my first repairs going this small, so any guidance on what I can, or should do going forward would be appreciated.

Hi @coxiella ,

You may have to search places such as here or here to get what you need.

It will be tricky as you need to know the specifications required so that the connector will be suitable, e.g. the pitch of the connectors for one thing (separation distance of the pins, thickness of pins, connection method etc.

Perhaps you can find a datasheet for the monitor. I couldn’t using the model number, but maybe there is one if you looked for the “board number” on which the connector is located.
