Charging but dead logic.
Hi. I’m trying to fix my macbook pro logic board. It suddenly shutdown and wont turn on after that. Can i know what it is on picture above?

Already change the capasitor..

To attempt a spontaneous reboot, dis connect the mag-safe and battery. Press and hold the power button for 10 seconds. Reconnect the battery then connect the mag-safe adapter. If your logic board is good it should reboot on its own.

It does look like the capacitor blew

And lastly here’s a view from the boardview
Double check that the other components are OK by cleaning the area with 85% isopropyl alcohol if the cap is the only component thats damaged you’ll need to get it replaced.
