Outer P5 screw not holding

Hi,

When closing the bottom case of my macbook pro, I noticed one of the 8 P5 3.1mm screw holes does not hold the screw. The problem does not come from the male thread (on the screw itself) because the problem occurs with all 8 of the available screw, but with one specific female thread (the upper-left one next to the screen hinge as seen on enclosed screenshot).

Curiously, I never put too much strength into screwing in a screw.

I did notice when initially opening the device that this precise screw point was a pain to get the screw OUT, not difficult to unscrew, just that the screw would rotate freely without ever rising out of it hole. This leads me to believe the female thread had been previously damaged. (I bought this computer 2nd hand ; the screen had just been replaced with a new one thanks to Apple’s screen peeling-gate program)

Is there a way to correct this issue ? It seems the female thread is in the computer chassis. Does it mean I would have to change the whole f** top case for one problematic screw thread?

Thanks in advance !!

The bottom cover uses two types of screws.

The shorter thread P5 screws go in the two screw holes between the corner screw holes of the top of the bottom case.

The rest are all slightly longer P5 screws so that might be the problem of putting the longer screw in the short hole.

2 shorter ones, 8 longer ones. I am using a long one. None of the 10 screws hold. It is not related to screw length, but the female threading of the hole being fried I guess. Hence my initial explanation...
