iMac I5 that will not boot
My aunt has an iMac I5 (model A1418) that will not boot. The Apple appears, no chime, it begins, but stops @ 2/3. Does not seem to respond to the wireless keypad. It worked until she tried to reset the system. Trying to help, but failing, as is she.

Can you tell us which year. Locate the systems S/N on the bottom of the foot and plug it into here EveryMac - Lookup. Please tell us what you have.
